Akulon® PA6 is a thermoplastic with high heat resistant properties making it a superior choice over metal for applications such as exterior mirror bases. Offering high weldline performance and temperature resistance that is better than PP, its great surface appearance surpasses PA66. Akulon® PA6 is approved in UV resistance in cases of L-stabilized grades. Akulon® Ultraflow grades allow for more cost effectiveness due to 25% cycle time advantage and high flowability enabling thinner wall designs.
